Oscar Quintero created the character ofΩKay Sedia in 2000 to compete in the Aid for Aids benefit, Quest for the Crown, a parody of the Miss Universe competition. Kay came in 1st runner up. Oscar has performed as Kay in San Diego, Las Vegas, Sonoma, and most notably in Los Angeles in Chico's Angels, a long-running theatrical serial. Oscar is currently developing Chico's Angels for television. In between, Oscar has performed in several independent films and most recently as Eva Longoria for the Trevor Project's tribute to Marc Cherry.

Kimberly Lewis received an MFA in Acting from California Institute of the Arts. She is a member of ACME Comedy Theatre's main sketch and improv companies and has won awards for her work in both (acmecomedy.com). She is also a member of the award-winning improv troupe, the Liquid Radio Players (liquidradioplayers.com). Kimberly is repped by Synergy Talent and Sutton, Barth & Vennari. Jim Connor has been seen in over 70 national commercials in the past ten years. He has guest starred on Desperate Housewives, King of Queens, Gilmore Girls, Drew Carey, The X-files to name a few. He has appeared in movies such as About Schmidt and Blades of Glory. Upcoming projects include the Caveman pilot for ABC and the movie Starship Dave with Eddie Murphy.

Cher Ferreyra began her career with a body-slam by creating her first character, LOCA, for the "Women of Wrestling (W.O.W ) and is actually a TagTeam champ! She traveled to Scotland and Ireland in a play called "Amerwrecka" (written and directed by J.D. Lewis) with her class members of "The Actor's Lab" where she has been a member of for the last 8 years. This year she was so lucky to be on "Nip/Tuck", and you can catch her on "Veronica Mars" as a recurring character named Fern.

Jennifer Manley has acted in films directed by, among others, Steven Spielberg, Barry Levinson and Sean Penn. She's appeared alongside Dustin Hoffman, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Sigourney Weaver, and on TV with the casts of Cold Case, Will & Grace and ER. Her theatre credits are extensive from her time in San Francisco, England and Los Angeles. Recently she co-wrote, produced and starred in the short Deliriously Jen, which has screened in 19 festivals around the world.

Scott Scarboro grew up wanting to be Wonder Woman. There was little shock around the dinner table when he told his family he was gay. Scott decided to take career path #2 instead, and become an actor. Growing up just outside of Raleigh, North Carolina, in a town called Rolesville, Scott enjoyed high school with his many friends. But the town had only one stoplight and little artistic flair, so Scott headed west and hasn't looked back. Scott sends his love and thanks to all involved in Cooking with Kay. Scott can't wait for the folks back home to see this one.

Lina Gallegos (actress/writer) has appeared on numerous stage, film, and TV productions. Her latest stage roles are Bernarda in The House of Bernarda Alba at the Underground Theatre in Hollywood and Queen Gertrude in Hamlet with the Long Beach Shakespeare Company. She starred in the independent film Coyotes and recently appeared on TV'sThe Shield. As a writer, she is pleased that her plays Maggie's Madness, Latino Lunacy, Yellow Tulips, Damn Joe, Paloma, and Hot and Bothered have all been produced in Hollywood.

Dennis Maynard, born in Dallas, Texas and raised in Greenville, South Carolina, has been involved in acting for over 10 years with over 35 different commercials, shorts, features, voice-overs, and other productions. Dennis was blessed with teachers, having some of the best in the business, including Jeff Goldblum, Arthur Mendoza, David Kagen, and more. Beth Gargan had a blast working on "Cooking with Kay" and hopes to work with Andrew and company on future projects. Beth recently appeared on MTV's "Short Circuitz" as a lustful PE teacher, and will be seen on an upcoming episode of HBO's "Big Love." Look for her in a hilarious cameo in the feature film "Mr. Woodcock" with Billy Bob Thornton and Susan Sarandon, to be released in September 2007.

Alejandro Patino has been performing for the last 29 years in Film, T.V. & Stage. Current credits include recently released "DELTA FARCE" with Larry The Cable Guy, Bill Engvall & D.J Qualls; "The Heartbreak Kid" directed by The Farrelly Bros with Ben Stiller, Michelle Monagahn which opens in Oct.; the soon to be released Alan Ball film "Nothing Is Private" with Aaron Eckhart, Toni Collette & Summer Bishil; and the soon to be released Indie film "Emilio" written and directed by Kim Jorgensen, executive producer of "OUT OF AFRICA". Alejandro was last seen on T.V. in the recurring role as "Ralph The Gardener" on "DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES" as well as "CRIMINAL MINDS", "THE UNIT", MEDIUM", and "MY NAME IS EARL" to name a few.
